I absolutely LOVE this piece. It is really subtle, but incredible at the same times. You were lucky to find such an amazing place to capture this photo, and lucky enough for it to have been at that right time of day where the sun shined so bright through that window into eerie darkness. The texture of the walls, floors, and ceiling, also really add to the piece making all of it come together as one. Everything fits and flows so nicely together from the window, to the emptiness, and darkness. Great work! I'll be looking back at you for more incredible photos.
Quite a lovely piece you have here. I commend your ability to find such a great location. One thing I would recommend is adding your own style to it. Set the mood with something extra that no one else would have done. I can think of so many portrait opportunities here. Great shot! I absolutely love the texture in all the walls. It really helps set a tone. The light seeping through is obviously a a real support beam in this shot, but what I'd really love to see is something incorporated with it. Right now, it's just a room with a dash of light - Like I said, add YOU to this setting and you've got yourself a real winner.
I am not a digital artist, but have struggled many times in the past to make accurate renderings (in oils or watercolors) of scenes like this. It was always difficult, and I am totally amazed at your results. In my own work I would have tried to darken all the detail around the window so as to produce a silhouette. The way you show it here the structure around the window is one of the lightest elements. It is a very charming capture, and you have taught me a valuable lesson I shall try to remember. Thank you! Very cool work!
Thanks !!! It is very beautiful what you wrote, I always dreamed to become a landscape painter, but unfortunely my parents did not have enough money so that I could get educated in this direction! greet you warmly!
